Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Brinsworth, Rotherham, is seeking an experienced Lab Manager to lead the Analytical Services Department and oversee laboratory operations.

You will ensure UKAS accreditation and ISO 17025 compliance, manage budgets, and provide high-quality testing and technical support for gas analysis using GC and FTIR. A Chemistry degree or equivalent is required, with strong leadership and GMP/ISO knowledge.

A job as a Lab Manager is urgently required in Brinsworth, Rotherham.

An exciting new job has arisen for a Lab Manager, based in Brinsworth, Rotherham to work for an industry leader in gas engineering and distribution.

The Lab Manager, located in Brinsworth, Rotherham will be responsible for leading the Analytical Services Department, managing laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation and ISO 17025 standards.The successful candidate will oversee a team of analytical specialists, manage laboratory budgets and deliver high-quality analytical testing and technical support across industrial, special and medical gases.

The ideal Lab Manager, based in Brinsworth, Rotherham will have a Degree in Chemistry or equivalent, alongside solid technical experience in gas analysis, measurement science or a related industry.They should have strong leadership experience, a good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and GMP practices, as well as hands-on knowledge of analytical techniques such as Gas Chromatography (GC) and FTIR.
