Job summary

Dawley Brook Primary School - Oak Tree SEND Unit is seeking an experienced L3 SEND Teaching Assistant for a part-time, 32.5 hours per week role working term-time only. The post includes a SEND allowance and opportunities to contribute to an inclusive, high-expectations learning environment.

The Oak Tree SEND Unit operates as a Local Authority-commissioned specialist provision; the successful candidate will support pupils with communication and interaction needs under the guidance of experienced

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working with children with Education, Health and Care Plans is desirable.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in the Oak Tree SEND Unit.
• Assist pupils with learning activities and promote inclusion.
• Contribute to planning and delivering SEND provision.
