Job summary

Supply Star Little Learners Recruitment is seeking a Bank Nursery Practitioner to provide ad-hoc cover for nurseries, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children and staff. This role supports EYFS activities and builds strong relationships with children.

Salary varies by level: Level 2 £14.25 phr (PAYE), Level 3 £15.00 phr (PAYE), or £16.88 phr (Umbrella). Flexible hours Monday–Friday, with temp and permanent options and DBS support.

Qualifications

• Paediatric First Aid qualification is required.
• Full Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/EY (NVQ, CACHE or equivalent).
• Experience in an early years setting is desirable.

About the Role

As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will provide ad-hoc cover to support nurseries to continue creating a safe and nurturing environment, and building strong relationships with both children and staff.

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 qualified)

Location: Wilmslow

Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible hours available, Monday-Friday

Salary: Level 2 with a valid PFA certificate : £14.25 phr (PAYE)

Salary: Level 3 with a valid PFA certificate: £15.00 phr (PAYE)

Salary: Level 2 & Level 3 with a valid PFA: £16.88 phr (Umbrella)

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Paediatric First Aid Qualification (if qualified after 30th June 2016)
• English GCSE grade C/4+ (if qualified after Sept 2014)
• Experience: Previous experience working within an early years setting is highly desirable.
• Skills: A good understanding of child development, standard safeguarding practices, and the EYFS framework.
• Attributes: An enthusiastic, patient, and caring nature with excellent communication and
