This is a 12‑month, full‑time, fixed‑term contract or secondment role based in Edinburgh or Birmingham.

Job Description

An exciting role has become available within our Client On‑Boarding Team, to carry out Know Your Customer (KYC) On‑boarding activities for the Corporate & Institutional Banking business area.

In this role, you’ll apply Global Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Standards with our policies and procedures to complete due diligence, spot high‑risk factors that could lead to a critical issue and provide a client‑first service.

Work Arrangement

HOURS: Full‑time, 35 hours

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, high‑quality work that supports positive outcomes for clients and colleagues
• Build positive relationships and provide excellent service to a wide range of stakeholders
• Act as a trusted point of contact, offering mentorship on processes and procedures
• Prioritise while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
• Support Know Your Business (KYB) and KYC activities, helping ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements
• Develop your expertise through ongoing training and learning opportunities

And experience of the following would be great

• Continuous improvement approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma or Systems Thinking
• Understanding of company‑wide policies and how to apply them in practice
• Technical understanding in how the Group is organised
