Delta Capita is seeking a KYC Onboarding Analyst to join our CLM team in London for a large-scale KYC project with a leading financial institution. You will manage end-to-end KYC processing, ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves CDD/EDD/SEDD duties, data entry into Fenergo, and ongoing collaboration with relationship managers and QC teams. A 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working is offered in London.

Responsibilities

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Conduct KYC CDD, EDD, SEDD activities for GBM Europe customers including onboarding and trigger events to ensure compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to support a reasonable and accurate assessment consistent with the Customer Risk Rating (CRR) methodology.
  • Conduct client review based on the Customer’s assigned risk using existing and publicly available information.
  • Prepare and conduct client outreach in an efficient and compliant manner and adopt a client-centric approach; ensuring transparency of the process and status of the customer file to stakeholders.
  • Identify and elevate issues or risks requiring supervision or escalation to team leads and senior management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of data and documentation into Fenergo book of record collected during KYC activities.
  • Ensure all operational trackers are updated to ensure accuracy of metrics.
  • Ensure KYC activities are conducted with timeliness, completeness and high quality.
  • Maintain high quality of KYC work while delivering timely results; perform file repair if required by QC/QA processes.
  • Pro-actively deepen knowledge of governing regulations and share learnings with the team; support training of new members.
  • Pursue process enhancements by identifying opportunities and collaborating with onboarding management and QC to improve effectiveness, data quality and AML controls.

Job description

We are seeking a KYC Onboarding Analyst to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team to support a large-scale Know Your Client (KYC) project for a leading financial institution. Based in London, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of KYC files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining efficiency and quality in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Conduct KYC CDD, EDD, SEDD activities for GBM Europe customers including but not limited to new onboarding and trigger events to ensure that KYC activities are executed in compliance with the all governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to support a reasonable and accurate assessment consistent with the Customer Risk Rating (‘CRR’) methodology;
  • Conduct client review based on the Customer’s assigned risk using existing and/or publicly available information.
  • Prepare and conduct client outreach in an efficient and compliant manner and adopt a client-centric approach; ensuring transparency of the process and status of the customer file are provided to the relevant stakeholders (such as the business/Relationship managers).
  • Identify and elevate any issues or risks that require further supervision or assistance from team leads and senior management in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate entry of data and documentation into Fenergo book of record which has been collected as part of the KYC activities.
  • Ensure all operational trackers required are updated to ensure accuracy of metrics
  • Ensure KYC activities are conducted with timeliness, completeness and to a high quality.
  • Ensure the quality of KYC work not compromised while driving timely delivery. Conduct file repair as a result of both Quality Control and Quality Assurance process.
  • Pro-actively deepen knowledge of the governing regulations, policies and procedures, as well as to effectively apply them to the day to day KYC due diligence process. Share learnings and best practices with the team and support new team members with relevant training as assigned.
  • Pursue process enhancement by identifying opportunities and collaborate with GBM Onboarding management and the QC team to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of the KYC process, ensure sound customer interactions, solid data quality, and sound AML controls.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Sound knowledge of current and anticipated regulatory frameworks impacting client onboarding knowledge of European KYC/AML. CANDER, Dodd Frank, EMIR and FATCA knowledge will be an asset.
  • Solid understanding of the global banking and capital markets business lines, products, services, operations, systems, as well as workflows across the Front, Middle and Back Offices. Ability to understand the structures for different entity types and the geographic risks associated to the Customer.
  • Exhibit sound judgment to detect, solve, or elevate problems efficiently and effectively. Taking full responsibility and ownership for all tasks/activities performed.
  • Must be able to operate effectively within a stressful environment with changing priorities and tight time frames which are closely scrutinized by Senior/Executive Management.

This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position. The role is based in London. For this role a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.

Expectations regarding hybrid working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 days and even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
