Job summary

Teach Now is seeking a Key Stage 3 Assistant Special Educational Needs Coordinator in Watford, Hertfordshire. In this role you will support pupils aged 11–14, work with the SENCO and teaching staff to organise SEND provision and maintain confidential records.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a secondary setting.
• Understanding of SEND provision and KS3 pupil needs.
• Experience maintaining records and handling confidential information.
• Strong written communication and digital system skills.
• Right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Maintain SEND records, support plans and documentation for KS3 pupils.
• Track interventions and progress, flag gaps to the SENCO.
• Help organise Education, Health and Care Plan reviews and referrals.
• Gather teacher feedback and evidence of SEND support impact.
• Communicate with parents, carers and external professionals confidentially.
• Help develop consistent SEND processes across year groups.
