Job summary

Flexzo Teach is recruiting an experienced Key Stage 3 SENCO to join a supportive secondary school in Watford. The role focuses on coordinating SEND provision across Years 7–9 and leading inclusion initiatives to help pupils access high-quality education.

The successful candidate will work with the SENDCo, develop and monitor EHCPs and APDR processes, and collaborate with teachers, parents and external professionals to drive progress and safeguarding across the school.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and SEND experience.
• Strong SEND knowledge and leadership abilities.
• Experience coordinating SEND provisions in KS3.
• Excellent communication with parents and professionals.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND provision across Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9).
• Coordinate EHCPs, annual reviews and support plans.
• Oversee APDR process and interventions.
• Collaborate with staff, Heads of Year and external agencies.
• Support staff development and whole-school inclusion strategies.
