Job summary

Teach Now is seeking a knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher for a secondary school in Hertfordshire. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities depending on experience, and focuses on building confidence in mathematical reasoning and problem solving.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons, prepare students for GCSE assessments, and use data to identify gaps and tailor support, while maintaining high expectations for progress.

Qualifications

• UK QTS or recognised equivalent
• Degree in Mathematics or strong subject background
• Experience teaching the UK secondary curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons.
• Teach across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities depending on experience.
• Prepare pupils effectively for assessments and GCSE examinations.
• Use assessment data to identify gaps and target support.
• Differentiate lessons for pupils of varying attainment.
