Job summary

Iqra Education is seeking a dedicated English Tutor to support Key Stages 3 and 4 with small-group sessions in English, Maths, and Science. You will help students strengthen reading, writing, and language skills while fostering confidence and a love of learning.

Working with mixed-ability groups, you will deliver engaging, structured lessons, assess progress, and contribute to a supportive centre culture that values high standards and safeguarding.

Iqra Education is looking for a dedicated and inspiring English Tutor to join our team, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. We provide small-group academic support in English, Maths, and Science, helping learners strengthen core skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

As an English Tutor, you will play a vital role in shaping students’ understanding of language, literature, and communication. Working with small groups of mixed-ability learners, you’ll help them develop reading comprehension, writing structure, grammar, and vocabulary while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

You’ll celebrate every milestone, guide students through challenges, and motivate them to reach their full potential. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys making learning engaging, purposeful, and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive, well-structured English sessions that support the National Curriculum.
• Provide individual and group support to help close learning gaps and build confidence.
