Job summary

Iqra Education is seeking a confident Tuition Supervisor to oversee tuition sessions, lead tutors, and create a safe, inspiring learning environment for children.

You will monitor attendance and progress, communicate with parents, uphold safeguarding and health-and-safety policies, and represent the ethos of Iqra Education in every interaction. An engaging, proactive leader with classroom experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; further qualifications in childcare are a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to motivate others.
• Experience with children or young people in educational/childcare settings.
• Safeguarding awareness; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of tuition sessions, maintaining a positive, structured, and stimulating environment.
• Supervise and support tutors, ensuring lessons are delivered to a high standard.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, representing the ethos of Iqra Education in every interaction.
• Ensure children are cared for safely and have access to activities that promote learning and personal growth.
• Monitor and record student attendance, engagement, and progress.
• Assist with behaviour management, ensuring sessions remain calm, inclusive, and productive.
• Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies at all times.
