Job summary

St Peter and St Paul, Catholic Voluntary Academy in Lincoln is seeking a cover supervisor to ensure pupils have a high-quality learning experience when their usual teacher is away. You will supervise KS3–KS4, support pre-set activities, manage behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.

This is a fixed-term, part-time role starting ASAP, 19.5 hours per week, term-time only, until 31 August 2027. We welcome applicants who value inclusion, safeguarding, and helping young people achieve

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and supporting pupils in KS3/KS4.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour and keep students on task.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the students in KS3, KS4 and occasional KS5, working on pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
• Be caring and supportive and committed to achieving excellent results.
• Want to make a difference to our students and foster excellent relationships.
• Promote the well-being of our students and provide guidance and support to inspire learning.
