Qualifications

Holds GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent qualifications.
Experience working with children and young people.
Ability to build positive and productive relationships with students.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Responsibilities

Supervising classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects.
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and supporting student learning.
Maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment.
Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons and reporting concerns.
Leading the 'super cover' provision alongside a second staff member.
Liaising with pastoral teams regarding student welfare and enrichment activities.
