Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for a full-time long-term position in a primary school in the United Kingdom. The post covers 2nd November to 18th December, with responsibilities across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

You will plan, deliver, assess and report on pupil progress, attend Monday staff meetings and parents' evenings, and manage SEND paperwork while using allocated PPA time for planning and assessment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach a Year 4 class from 2nd November to 18th December.
• Undertake full teacher responsibilities.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report pupil progress.
• Attend staff meetings on Mondays and participate in parents' evenings.
• Complete SEND paperwork and documentation.
• Use PPA time effectively for planning and assessment.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
