Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment, on behalf of a primary school in Bury, is seeking an experienced Year 4 teacher to join the KS2 team. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress and support pupils to become independent learners.

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Primary teaching experience with recent KS2 experience.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with effective behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Taking full teaching responsibility for a Year 4 class.
• Preparing and delivering high-quality lessons.
• Differentiating work to meet a range of abilities.
• Assessing learning and tracking pupil progress.
• Supporting children to become increasingly independent learners.
• Maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom.
• Contributing to planning and wider school activities.
• Working effectively with teaching assistants and other staff.
