Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for a four-day-per-week, long-term role in a GOOD Ofsted-rated primary school in Cheltenham. You will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, manage the class, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Experience as a Year 4/ KS2 teacher, strong behaviour management, and a commitment to safeguarding are essential. ECTs welcome to apply as the school supports professional development.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience as Year 4 / KS2 teacher in a primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS2.
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom presence.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including autism and ADHD.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching, safeguarding and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS2 lessons.
• Take full class responsibility for a Year 4 class, including assessments and progress tracking.
• Create an inclusive learning environment with high expectations and behaviour management.
• Adapt teaching to support pupils with SEND (autism/ADHD).
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to support every child.
