Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Salford (M6). This full‑time, long‑term role supports pupils across Key Stage 2 with diverse learning and communication needs, providing 1:1 and small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.

You will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and parents to implement individual education plans, help create an engaging, inclusive classroom, and contribute to safeguarding and positive pupil

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply.
• Two professional references covering the last three years.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Passion for supporting children's education.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.
• Support pupils across Key Stage 2 with varied learning needs.
• Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support individual education plans.
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive learning experiences.
