Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive junior school from September 2026 for the full academic year. You will work closely with the KS2 team to support classroom learning and pupil development.

The role focuses on observation, feedback and creating an inclusive environment that builds confidence and participation. Two references and TA qualification or relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational or childcare setting.
• Experience working with children within the KS2 setting.
• Two professional references from an educational or care background.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities that align with the curriculum.
• Assist in observing and assessing pupils’ progress, offering constructive feedback to help guide their learning and development.
• Help create an inclusive, welcoming classroom environment that encourages participation, creativity, and growing confidence.
