Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Blackpool primary setting. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3:15pm, starting September 2026, on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent.

You will work closely with the class teacher, providing targeted support to individuals and groups, assisting with activities and helping foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for older primary pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience within KS2 (school-based preferred).
• Patience, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Confident supporting KS2 learning across the curriculum.
• Works well as part of a team.
• TA qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS2, working closely with the class teacher.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Assist with learning activities and classroom organisation.
• Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
