Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a Greenwich primary school on a long-term, full-time basis with an ASAP start.

You will support the class teacher throughout the day, working with pupils individually and in small groups and providing additional help as needed.

This role offers a consistent timetable in Greenwich with dedicated consultant support from Tradewind and a daily rate of 95-105 GBP.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children
• Primary school experience is desirable
• Experience working with KS2 pupils
• Good communication skills
• A calm and consistent approach
• The ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across KS2
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Supporting reading, writing and maths
• Helping pupils who need additional support to access lessons
• Encouraging pupils to stay engaged with their learning
