Job summary

Aura Education is seeking a passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Walton, Liverpool. You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development, and help ensure every child reaches their potential.

The role emphasizes inclusive education and strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff. QTS and experience in KS1/KS2 are essential, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8:00am–4:15pm hours.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate pupils.
• Be confident adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Have excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations and supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teaching core subjects, including English and Mathematics, alongside the wider primary curriculum.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs, abilities and learning styles of all pupils.
• Assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching to support achievement.
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents to support children's development.
• Promoting positive behaviour, resilience, independence and a love of learning.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and adapting teaching strategies to ensure all children can access the curriculum.
• Maintaining accurate records of progress and contributing to the wider life of the school.

Essential Requirements

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have proven experience teaching children in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Have the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate pupils.
• Be confident adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
