Aura Education is seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils at a primary school in the L4 area of Liverpool. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, at a daily pay rate of £106.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND, helping them access the KS1 curriculum and develop literacy, numeracy and communication skills. Patience, empathy and teamwork are essential; a TA or SEND qualification is advantageous.

• Experience supporting children with SEND in school or educational settings is desirable.
• Patience, empathy, resilience and a calm, positive approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and support their development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for KS1 pupils with SEND.
• Support children with additional needs (ASC, ADHD, communication and sensory needs).
• Help pupils develop early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Adapt activities and resources to individual abilities and learning styles.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social interaction.
• Encourage independence, confidence and participation in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure consistent support.

Formation

Relevant TA or SEND qualification (advantageous)
