Job summary

Aura Education is seeking a passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Walton, Liverpool. You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development, and help ensure every child reaches their potential.

The role emphasizes inclusive education and strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff. QTS and experience in KS1/KS2 are essential, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8:00am–4:15pm hours.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate pupils.
• Be confident adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Have excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teach core subjects English and Mathematics and the wider primary curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons to meet all pupils' needs.
• Assess pupil progress and give constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Promote positive behaviour, resilience and a love of learning.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Maintain records of progress and contribute to school life.
