Job summary

Ellesmere Primary School is seeking a General Teaching Assistant to provide SEN support in KS2. The post is full-time and temporary until 31 August 2027, with potential for extension, and runs 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks (term time plus PD days).

You will work as part of a team to raise standards, support inclusion, and help pupils become independent learners in a safe, stimulating environment. A DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• To work as part of a team of dedicated educators delivering the highest quality of care and education
• To contribute to the provision and maintenance of a healthy, stimulating, safe, enabling and aesthetically pleasing learning environment
• To develop and maintain professional links with parents, colleagues, carers and other agencies working with the school, the local community and the Trust
• To contribute and plan for the preparation, delivery and evaluation of learning experiences that will enhance children's physical, intellectual, emotional, social and moral development
