Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to support two KS2 pupils with SEMH needs in a welcoming primary school. Immediate Start for the Autumn Term at £100 per day.

The role involves 1:1 and small group support, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation, building trusting relationships with pupils, and supporting learning during lessons, breaks and playground time.

Qualifications

• Experience working with KS2 pupils.
• SEMH experience or strong interest in supporting children with additional needs.
• Calm, consistent and resilient.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes and playground activities.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider support team.

The Role

Pay and Progression

• £100 per day, with opportunities for progression based on relevant SEMH experience, SEND training and demonstrated impact within the role.
