Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a KS2 Teaching Assistant for a part-time, temporary role in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will work across KS2 classes, 12:30-15:30, Monday to Friday, supporting the teacher with Maths and English and helping pupils of varying abilities.

The role requires a proactive, well-organised, friendly candidate with Level 2 TA qualification or higher and the ability to differentiate learning and assist SEND pupils. Temporary contract November 2026 to July 2027.

Qualifications

• Preferably experience of working with Key Stage 2.
• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or above.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly and enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Support across KS2 classes in a part-time role.
• Assist with delivering Mathematics and English to KS2 pupils.
• Support pupils with diverse learning needs (SEND).
