Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd Sunderland is seeking a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant on an ongoing temporary contract. The role runs 9:30am-5:30pm and involves supporting learning, promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils develop confidence, independence and key skills, with after-school club support.

Experience with primary school children and pupils with SEND is required; teamwork and a passion for pupil progress are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with primary school aged children.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• Passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning in KS2.
• Encourage positive behaviour in class.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and key skills.
• Work closely with teaching staff to provide classroom support.
