Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant in Newcastle Upon Tyne for a full-time temporary role from November 2026 to July 2027. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group SEND support to EYFS and KS1 pupils, helping them access the curriculum through differentiated activities.

Experience in EYFS/KS1, a Level 2 TA qualification, and a proactive, team-oriented approach are essential. The role offers PAYE rates, CPD, and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting in Early Years and Key Stage 1.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
• Ability to differentiate learning for pupils.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, enthusiastic personality with SEND knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group SEND support for EYFS and KS1 pupils.
• Assist the class teacher to enable curriculum access for all learners.
• Support pupils to access learning with tailored strategies.
