Badbury Park Primary School in Swindon invites applicants for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS2. You will work closely with class teachers to assist with literacy, numeracy and ICT activities, helping children develop confidence and independence.

We are looking for someone patient, nurturing and enthusiastic about inclusive education, with a track record of motivating primary-aged pupils and promoting positive behaviour in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children, especially Years 5/6.
• Ability to motivate and support pupils to achieve their best.
• Experience promoting positive behaviour and inclusive practices.

Responsabilités

• Support learning across KS2, focusing on literacy, numeracy and ICT.
• Work with class teachers to support pupils' academic and personal development.
• Promote confidence, independence and social skills in pupils.
• Remain patient, calm and professional in a busy school environment.
• Collaborate with staff to contribute to the wider school ethos.
