Job summary

Badbury Park Primary School is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils in upper KS2 (Year 5/6). You will work closely with class teachers and the school team to support learning, wellbeing and development through engaging activities tailored to individual and group needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children, especially Year 5/6.
• Ability to motivate and encourage pupils to achieve their best.
• Experience using strategies to promote positive behaviour and support learners with differing needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster social development, confidence and independence.
• Calm, patient, and professional demeanor in a busy school environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team and take initiative.
• Willingness to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.
• Positive role modeling and a values-based approach to education.
