Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and well-planned lessons across the curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils as required.
• Support children's learning across core subjects including Maths and English.
• Assist with foundation subjects such as Geography and PE.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Encourage children to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and provide emotional and pastoral support.
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs as needed.
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation and general learning activities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and support safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and a welcoming learning environment.
