Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a primary school in Greenwich who are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with younger children and wants a consistent role where they can really get to know their pupils and become part of the school team.
You will work closely with the class teacher, supporting pupils throughout the school day and helping them get the most from their learning.
Supporting pupils across the KS1 curriculum
Working with individuals and small groups
Providing additional support with phonics, reading, writing and maths
Helping pupils stay focused and engaged during lessons
Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
Preparing resources and assisting the class teacher
Building positive relationships with pupils
Has previous experience working with children
Ideally has experience in a primary school or similar setting
Is confident working with KS1 pupils
Is patient, approachable and reliable
Can work well alongside teachers and other support staff
