Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Greenwich on a long-term basis, starting ASAP. You will work alongside the class teacher and SEN team, providing 1:1 and small-group SEN support.

The role focuses on helping pupils access the KS2 curriculum, supporting literacy and numeracy, managing behaviour, and building independence in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Teaching Assistant experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• Primary school experience, ideally KS2.
• Good behaviour management skills.
• A patient, calm and consistent approach.
• Strong communication skills.

Pay: 95- 110 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Greenwich on a long-term basis, starting ASAP.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with pupils and wants a position where they can provide consistent support throughout the school day.

You’ll be working alongside the class teacher and SEN team, supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them access learning and take part in school life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group SEN support
• Helping pupils access the KS2 curriculum
• Supporting literacy and numeracy
• Helping pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Supporting classroom routines and activities
• Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team

The school are looking for someone with:

• Previous Teaching Assistant experience
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Primary school experience, ideally within KS2
• Good behaviour management skills
• A patient, calm and consistent approach
• Strong communication skills

Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or communication needs would be beneficial.
