Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant for a Greenwich primary school to start ASAP on a long-term, full-time basis. You will support the class teacher across the KS1 curriculum and help pupils engage with learning.

You’ll work in small groups and one-to-one, provide extra support with phonics, reading, writing and maths, help maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines, and prepare resources.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience working with children.
• Ideally has experience in a primary school or similar setting.
• Is confident working with KS1 pupils.
• Is patient, approachable and reliable.
• Can work well alongside teachers and other support staff.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role in a Greenwich primary school?Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a primary school in Greenwich who are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with younger children and wants a consistent role where they can really get to know their pupils and become part of the school team.You will work closely with the class teacher, supporting pupils throughout the school day and helping them get the most from their learning.
