Job summary

Lever House Primary School in Leyland invites applications for a Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Level 2A). The role supports Key Stage 2 pupils, delivers targeted intervention work and provides learning support across the school.

The post is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:50am–3:20pm, term-time only, with a pro-rata salary. It is a fixed-term contract until 20 July 2027, with opportunities to work across different classes and year groups.

Qualifications

• Experience with KS2 pupils and supporting diverse learning needs.
• Ability to deliver effective intervention work with individuals or small groups.
• Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs in an inclusive setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective classroom support across Key Stage 2 and the playground.
• Deliver targeted intervention sessions to address gaps in learning.
• Work flexibly across classes and year groups as required.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
