Job summary

Balshaw’s Church Of England High School in Leyland is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students across year groups. The role focuses on assisting pupils with additional needs to maximise learning and to participate effectively in class activities.

The post is part-time (33 hours 20 minutes/week) during term time plus 5 inset days, with progression towards TA3 and a pro-rata salary based on TA2/TA3 pay scales. A proactive, humorous, team-oriented approach is valued.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or above qualification (or equivalent) – desirable
• Experience of working with children
• Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs or SEND may be desirable
