Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Blackpool primary school. This long-term, full-time role runs five days a week from 8:30 to 15:30, starting ASAP for the Autumn term with potential extension.

You will provide 1:1 support and small group help in a mixed Year 5/6 class, including children with additional needs. An Enhanced DBS and UK work eligibility are required. Pay starts from £92.56 per day depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of KS2 and challenging behaviour.
• DBS disclosure required (Enhanced).
• UK work rights must be present.

KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant – Blackpool

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a KS2 class in a Blackpool school. This is to support children in a mixed Year 5/6 class, some with additional needs and challenging behaviour. The role is to start as soon as possible for the Autumn term with the potential to be extended. This "Good" Primary School in Blackpool are offering a long-term full-time placement 5 days a week 8.30 - 3.30. Pay starts from £92.56 per day depending on experience.

As a teaching assistant you will be responsible to support children within the class, including 1-1 support work and working with groups to support any gaps in the classroom.
