Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a skilled KS2 Primary Teacher for a Year 5 class in Blackpool and surrounding area. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm, starting in September.

You will need QTS, KS2 experience, and the ability to plan creative lessons within the national curriculum. The school is an affluent, high-demand area with supportive SLT and strong CPD opportunities, including access to over 2500 CPD courses.

Qualifications

• KS2 teaching experience with a proven track record.

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher who is looking for a full time Monday - Friday role to cover in a Year 5 class. The Primary School is 1 form entry school with a dedicated staff and supportive SLT, this school is oversubscribed and in high demand from parents and is an affluent area. The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in teaching in Key Stage 2, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and a creative approach to lesson planning. You should be passionate about engaging children and helping them to achieve their full potential and should be committed to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all.

• Be a qualified teacher with QTS
• Experience of working within KS2 with a proven track record
• Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
