Job summary

Downfield Primary School in Cheshunt is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 2) to join our supportive and dynamic team. The role involves assisting with classroom activity, providing pastoral support, and delivering small-group or 1:1 intervention programmes.

You will work under the guidance of the class teacher to help pupils achieve their potential. The successful candidate will be experienced, creative and energetic, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working in schools.

Thesuccessful applicant will have experience in working within schools and providea range of support including: classroom learning and pastoral support, supportingSEN pupils, delivery of small group or individual interventionprogrammes, 1:1 support with pupils with additional needs.

Should you beshortlisted, interviews will take place in school where you will have theopportunity to work with a small group of pupils in the mainstream class. Thisposition is from 8.40am – 3.15pm: Mondayto Friday in term time only.
