Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Experience teaching in Early Years or Key Stage 2 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS check and professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with diverse learning needs using tailored teaching strategies.
• Foster independence and social development through collaborative activities.
• Attend to pupils' personal care and medical needs as required.
• Promote health and well-being through activities encouraging physical activity and resilience.
• Improve literacy and numeracy through targeted interventions.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and assess progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, parents, and carers to achieve the best outcomes.
