Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a qualified KS2 teacher for a two-form entry school in Great Barr. The role begins in October 2026 and runs until July 2027 with potential extension if a good fit is found.

You will lead KS2 classes, manage full planning commitments, and deliver high-quality education to develop pupils’ knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will hold QTS, bring classroom experience, and demonstrate a nurturing, patient approach to help every child thrive.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and has good classroom experience.
• Experience delivering KS2 curriculum and a nurturing teaching style.
• Able to plan effectively and differentiate for mixed ability groups.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for full planning and delivery of KS2 lessons.
• Provide engaging, high-quality teaching to support pupils’ development.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment and monitor progress.

KS2 Teacher - Great Barr

Are you an experienced Qualified Teacher based in or around Great Barr? Do you aspire to have a positive impact on the young minds of today? Then we have the perfect role for you!

The school I am recruiting for is looking for a fully qualified KS2 schoolteacher who is seeking a challenge in a 2 form entry school. The role is due to start in October 2026 and will finish in July 2027 with potential to stay for the next academic year if the school feel you are the correct fit.

The role itself consists various of responsibilities such as full planning commitments and providing the best possible education for the development of your class. The ideal candidate would hold QTS and have good experience within a classroom.

This school is keen for innovative, passionate teachers to move them forward with the times. It is a lovely, small school-with two classes per year, staff members are able to know each child individually and uniquely with an extremely supportive team of staff that aim to build pupils positive self-esteem and equip the children with the skills needed for lifelong learning.
