Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher for a Primary School in Rochdale. The position is on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis, with September start. This role is temporary and sits within a friendly, community-focused school.

You will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, maintain positive classroom management, and support pupils to stretch their reading, writing and maths skills while collaborating with the school team.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning needs.
• Comfortable collaborating with the school team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS2 lessons across the curriculum.
• Establish positive classroom management and inclusive learning environments.
• Support reading, writing, mathematics and communication development.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff in line with school policies.
