Salary: Paid to Main Teacher Pay Scale

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher looking for your next opportunity? Prospero Teaching is working with a welcoming primary school in Bridgwater seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave for one academic year.

About the Role
  • Teach a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 4.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
