Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in BS3, Bristol, on a full-time maternity cover basis. You will lead a settled KS2 Year 4 class with support for pupil wellbeing and academic achievement.

You will collaborate with a supportive KS2 team, planning engaging lessons, assessing progress, and adapting teaching to meet all learners’ needs. A nurturing, reflective educator with QTS is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary setting
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• A nurturing and child-centred approach
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Reflective, proactive and committed to high standards
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning
• Plan, assess and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils
