Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking compassionate Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 and small-group SEND support within Key Stage 1 classrooms across Leeds.

Essential UK experience in a UK primary school, ability to follow EHCPs, and safeguarding/vetting compliance are required. Randstad offers long-term supply placements, weekly pay, and free CPD modules to support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Essential UK experience in a UK primary school setting supporting KS1 children with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or Speech & Language barriers).
• Capability to follow EHCPs and adapt national curriculum tasks to meet individual learning needs.
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for a new check).
• Strong de-escalation techniques, patience, emotional resilience, and a proactive approach to inclusive learning.

Responsibilities
