Job summary

Randstad Education seeks compassionate EYFS Teaching Assistants to support children with SEND in Leeds primary schools. This supply role offers 1:1 or small group support across settings, focusing on inclusive education and observable development.

You will have UK EYFS experience, adapt activities to EHCPs, and undertake safeguarding checks. Randstad provides ongoing guidance, weekly pay, and access to CPD courses.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in a UK EYFS classroom supporting pupils with SEND.
• Ability to adapt play-based tasks to match EHCPs and carry out speech or sensory routines.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new check through Randstad).
• Outstanding de-escalation skills and commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group SEND support across primary schools in Leeds.
• Support childrens development through targeted, play-based learning activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP goals.
• Maintain safeguarding and report concerns in line with policy.
