St Giles’ C.E Primary School in Shrewsbury is seeking a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join KS2. You will support a specific child 1:1 or in small groups alongside the class teacher, contributing to pupil progress and learning.

The role includes a 30‑minute lunchtime supervision and the stated hours are 8:55am–3:15pm. The post is fixed-term for one year, starting Autumn Term 2026, with DBS clearance required.

Formación

• Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils.
• Experience of delivering interventions and willingness to undertake a first aid qualification.
• Sound understanding of how to promote positive learning behaviours.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build good relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Support a specific child on a 1:1 or small group basis alongside the class teacher.
• Contribute to pupil’s academic progression.
• Carry out lunchtime supervision for 30 minutes daily.
• Assist with class teaching hours as required.
