Job summary

Hays Education is helping a Wigan area school recruit a KS2 Teaching Assistant to start in September. The role involves supporting KS2 pupils, including SEN children, in group and 1:1 settings, across English, Maths, Reading and Writing.

You will collaborate with teachers and fellow TAs to ensure pupils progress and work is aligned to ability. This is a partnership role with Hays Education and offers an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
• SEN experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in KS2 in group and 1:1 settings.
• Assist with English, Maths, Reading and Writing as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and other TAs to ensure pupil progress and appropriate learning activities.
