An established industry player is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join their outstanding SEN school in South Manchester. Your new company: Hays Education is currently working with a large SEN school in South Manchester to recruit an experienced upper KS2 class teacher for a long-term role starting ASAP. The role is currently for the summer term but could go permanent or be extended to September 2025. The school is viewing applications from ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about supporting pupils with SEND, particularly complex needs and SLD. You will be teaching a class of 9–11 pupils and have the support of experienced teaching assistants in class and be supported by an experienced teaching and leadership team.
Your new role: You will be working in a large SEN school which specialises in supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. The school is rated Ofsted 'Outstanding' and all staff work hard to create an environment for pupils to flourish. The school delivers a bespoke curriculum designed specifically for their learners to engage in education and all aspects of school life. As a Year 5/6 teacher, you will work in a class of 9–11 pupils, supported by 3 teaching assistants. You will be responsible for planning, resourcing, and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the school's bespoke curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of the children you teach.
