Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a KS2 SEN Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming Primary School in Hartlepool. You will support KS2 pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping children with additional needs access learning and build independence.

We welcome applicants with school, nursery or childcare experience. Paediatric First Aid is desirable. This role is suitable for graduates and those with relevant volunteering or placement experience who are passionate about helping children thrive.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEN/SEND is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in school, nursery, childcare, community or similar setting.
  • Graduates and candidates with relevant volunteer or placement experience are encouraged to apply!
  • Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable.

KS2 SEN Learning Support Assistant – Hartlepool

Milk Education is looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Hartlepool.

You’ll be supporting KS2 pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping children with additional needs access learning, build confidence and develop their independence. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide personalised support and targeted interventions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, or anyone with relevant school, nursery, childcare, community or volunteer experience who is passionate about helping children thrive.

Key Responsibilities
