Job summary

Justteachers Ltd., in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in Norwich, is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join on a full-time, long-term basis from September. You will work closely with teachers and pupils across KS2, providing classroom support and targeted interventions to help students reach their potential.

The role focuses on supporting learning, encouraging positive behaviour and independence, and contributing to a caring, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils is desirable.
• A positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with teaching staff.
• Ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Genuine passion for education and pupil achievement.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 classes
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce objectives
• Assist preparation and delivery of engaging learning activities
• Support pupils with varying learning needs to access the curriculum

• Deliver targeted intervention sessions to support pupil progress
• Assist with classroom organisation and the preparation of learning resources
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
